Interests

My research centers on issues of interfacing amongst heterogeneous electronic resources. By providing a framework to support development of interfaces to online information repositories - and a mechanism for composition of these sources - intelligent information aggregation applications can be rapidly built and deployed.

Furthermore, I am interested in systems that bridge the gap between the physical world and the electronic realm. I have built and deployed systems that deliver on-point information to a user engaged in a given task with a physical object, leveraging that object’s unique identifier and the context surrounding the user’s task to drive information retrieval.

Other interests include new media, multitrack audio recording, and wilderness camping.
